Before you create an account
AFT Gateway is a service provided by Auto Finance Technology Ltd (company number 15121835, ICO registration ZB593422) for completing, signing and storing documents between AFT Group and its counterparties.
What Gateway is, and is not
Gateway is separate from every AFT Group platform. It does not connect to motorsales.ai, motorverify.ai, DriverVerify or Motoring.Today, and holds no customer, applicant or vehicle data from any of them. What it holds is your account details, your organisation's details, and the documents you complete, sign or upload here.
What we collect
Your name, work email, mobile number, job title and organisation; the documents you complete, sign or upload, including any information they contain; and a log of sign-ins, views, downloads and signatures. We use this to run the service, verify who signed what, and meet our legal obligations. We do not use it for marketing.
Where it is held
Gateway runs on Supabase in Ireland (EEA), which the UK recognises as providing adequate protection. Single-use login codes are sent to your email by our email provider, Resend. Full details are in the Gateway Privacy Notice.
How long we keep it
Your account for as long as your organisation has a relationship with AFT Group; signed documents and the signing log for six years after the document ends, as evidence of what was agreed.
Signing electronically
Documents signed in Gateway are signed electronically within Gateway itself. By using Gateway you agree that your electronic signature has the same effect as a handwritten one, and that the completion record we generate is evidence of the signing.
Documents you upload
You can upload your own document — for example an alternative NDA — and request AFT Group's signature. You are responsible for what it contains. Uploaded documents are reviewed before AFT signs; AFT may decline, propose changes, or require its own version.
